Go an a scuba diving adventure in the greatest section of reef in the Caribbean. Get up close to sharks, turtles, squid, schools of fish and see incredible coral diversity on this 9 day trip. Also built into the itinerary is plenty of time to relax by the waterside, drink your favorite beverages and snorkel on a diverse coral reef at any time. We guarantee you will be within 100 feet of a beautiful snorkeling spot during the entire trip. Options to get dive certified for only $100 more are available at the Bay Islands College of Diving. Join us on an unforgettable tour of the Islands of Honduras.
This trip will feature partnerships between the Roatan Marine Park and Bay Islands Reef Restoration. Special trips and activities will be scheduled with guests that are not available with other tour groups. All activities are weather dependent but may include snorkeling tours to research only sections of reefs, participation in coral reef restoration projects and travel to unique areas of the island.
Justin Grubb will be guiding this trip and providing complementary photography lesson and photos to guests. Bring your underwater cameras!
Day 1:
· Guide picks up group members from Roatan at Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport in the morning. Opportunity for snacks and food.
· Night snorkel in Half Moon Bay

Day 2:
· Full day of diving - 1 morning dive and 1 afternoon dive. Diving may include wreck diving, drift diving, shallow reef diving, muck diving or wall diving. All dives weather dependent.
· Lunch after dives
· Dinner at restaurant along Half Moon Bay

Day 3:
· Full day of diving - 1 morning dive and 1 afternoon dive. Diving may include wreck diving, drift diving, shallow reef diving, muck diving or wall diving. All dives weather dependent.
· Dinner in Half Moon Bay

Day 4:
· Full day of diving - 1 morning dive and 1 afternoon dive. Diving may include wreck diving, drift diving, shallow reef diving, muck diving or wall diving. All dives weather dependent.
· Dinner/drinks in Half Moon Bay - Sundowners Beach Bar

Day 5:
· 7:00 am morning dive - Cara a cara - Caribbean reef shark dive (weather dependent)
· Afternoon dive with Eco-Divers Roatan. May include turtle reef, wall/drift diving, shallow reef diving or muck diving. All dives are weather dependent.
· Dinner/drinks in Half Moon Bay - Margaritas at Argentina Grill

Day 6:
· Full day of diving - 1 morning dive and 1 afternoon dive. Diving may include wreck diving, drift diving, shallow reef diving, muck diving or wall diving. All dives weather dependent.
· Afternoon reef restoration with Bay Islands Reef Restoration - cleaning coral trees, moving propagated coral and educational lectures. (Weather Dependent - Subject to change)
· Dinner in Half Moon Bay - Creoles Rotisserie Chicken

Day 7:
· Full day of diving - 1 morning dive and 1 afternoon dive. Diving may include wreck diving, drift diving, shallow reef diving, muck diving or wall diving. All dives weather dependent.

Day 8:
Morning Beach cleanup with Eco-divers (optional)

Photo tour
· This tour will be operated as a Dive/Photo tour so participants are encouraged to bring underwater cameras including digital, action and video cameras. Both Running Wild Guides have extensive underwater video/photo experience.
Extensions/additions
· It is entirely possible to schedule extensions and additions to this itinerary. If individuals are interested in getting SCUBA certified on the trip, they may do so at a discounted rate at Bay Islands College of Diving. Participants can get certified during the duration of the stay in Utila or before the rest of the group arrives. Special rate is $298 for Advanced Open Water certification through PADI and includes several free fun dives.
· Individuals wishing to extend to participate in Running Wild Media’s 360 education campaign are invited to do so but cover own cost.

Remaining payments must be submitted 1.5 months before departure.
All participants on this trip should carry own health insurance.
Deposits are non-refundable as they are used to pre-book all reservations and accommodation.
Liability waivers and supporting documentation must be submitted with final payment. Papers will be issued upon deposit or earlier upon request via email.
Round trip flights should be booked to Roatan at Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport.
We can book your flights if you are more comfortable with that.
Remaining payments must be submitted 1.5 months before departure.
