Who We’ve Worked With
The Indianapolis Zoo
Chimpanzee Education Video Series
Focusing on the Penny and Jock Fortune International Chimpanzee Complex, Running Wild Media is working with the Indianapolis Zoo to produce educational video content to be used across three different exhibit areas in the zoo. This project pulls together important educational themes of conservation, research, cognition, welfare, culture, evolution, and sustainability of the chimpanzee community on grounds and in the wild.

WHITE OAK CONSERVATION
General Multimedia Support
In collaboration with White Oak Conservation, we produced a series of media projects, including a short film on their Florida Grasshopper Sparrow reintroduction efforts, which was showcased at film festivals across Florida. Additionally, we created videos highlighting husbandry successes, hospitality content, and provided high-resolution images to help promote and share the conservation facility’s work.

The Endangered Wolf Center
Scientific American
For the first time ever, Running Wild Media captured the full journey of Mexican Wolf puppies—born in managed care—as they were transported and placed into a wild den. In partnership with the Endangered Wolf Center and USFWS, this groundbreaking short film will premiere on Scientific American in March 2025. This project serves as a vital link between the conservation efforts of the facility and their broader reach through media distribution.
PBS | This American Land
To help share the Endangered Wolf Center’s conservation efforts, we produced a segment for PBS’s This American Land. This piece takes viewers inside a managed wolf habitat, highlighting the critical work being done to protect the red wolf—the world’s most endangered canid. Today, North Carolina is the only place where red wolves can still be found in the wild, but their survival has faced immense challenges since European colonization, including habitat loss and hunting. Declared extinct in the wild in 1980, the species has been given a second chance thanks to breeding and reintroduction programs led by facilities like the Endangered Wolf Center.
St Louis International Airport Exhibit
In collaboration with the St. Louis International Airport and the St. Louis Regional Arts Commission, we designed and curated an educational exhibit highlighting the Mexican wolf and red wolf. This engaging display introduced travelers to the vital work of the Endangered Wolf Center, showcasing efforts to save these two critically endangered species from extinction.
More about the Endangered Wolf Center
